Warner Baxter (1891-1951) Warner Baxter's film career began in 1918 and continued until 1950, primarily in starring roles. His many noteworthy film credits included "Daddy Long Legs"(1931) and "42nd Street"(1933). Warner received an Academy Award for his portrayal of Cisco Kid in "In Old Arizona"(1929).

This 8"x10" photo shows Warner Baxter in his late 20s or early 30s. A couple of corner wrinkles and the reverse side has album mounting residue in each corner, otherwise this very nice portrait is in excellent condition. The inscription "Faithfully Yours, / Warner Baxter" has been marred by a faulty pen or blotter, affecting more the sentiment than his signature. The date "1924" has been written in pencil on the reverse side.
